The Congregational Church of Pinehurst has the vision of being so powerfully Spirit-filled and faithfully responsive to the call of God that people will continually come to hear and understand the teachings of Jesus Christ. We welcome people of all ages and races who express a desire to know God. We strive to create an environment - through word and deeds - in which people will want a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have committed ourselves to continue to learn and grow in Christian faith.

We are a small church with a diverse membership. our members come to us from various geographic and denominational backgrounds, with different interests and dispositions. What we hold in common is Our faith in God, our care for each other, and our interest in developing and nurturing creative ministries and styles of worship.

Our openness to new people and experiences enables us to continue to do the things that this church has always valued to support one another and the community we serve. As we grow in spirit and size, we have pledged to seek ways to substantially increase our level of giving to worthy ministries and outreach programs. The friendly, caring spirit that characterizes us is an expression of our belief in God's loving acceptance of us and all people.
 

We are proud of our beautiful property and building. Our facilities are tools by which we provide for worship, for Christian education of adults and youth, for fellowship and for service to the community. We maintain them as an expression of thanksgiving for God's gifts in nature and the environment, and are developing them in ways that enhance ministry.
